Shira is the subject of the first ever Sustainable Tompkins Podcast!

Posted on March 28, 2011 by shira

Welcome to the Sustainable Tompkins Podcast! Today’s episode marks the first of what we hope will be many different episodes focusing on all the amazing work our community is doing to promote sustainability in Tompkins County and the Finger Lakes region. My name is Alex Colket and in the coming months I hope to bring you along as I sit down and chat with some of the people on the forefront of this movement towards a more just and durable future. Today’s interview is with Shira Golding, the creative force behind Share Tompkins, Frac Attack and various other exciting endeavors. We here at Sustainable Tompkins have recently nominated Shira for the Young Innovators for Social Justice Prize from Grinnell College, so we decided that she would be the perfect starting point for this podcast. Without further ado, let’s listen in on my conversation with Shira Golding.
