Video: Empowered Sneak Peek, a documentary about energy independence

For the last few months I’ve been working with local activist and off-grid homesteader Suzanne McMannis on a documentary called Empowered. The idea is to demonstrate that even in Tompkins County, one of the cloudiest places in the country, it is possible fill of our energy needs through renewables like solar, wind and geothermal. We are still shooting and plan to release the film this summer. Stay tuned!
